We are so incredibly proud of G! He never liked drawing and coloring and that is even stated in his end-of-the-year Kindergarten assessment papers. Yet, we got an email from his Art teacher this week (public school) saying that his art was picked for the K-12 art show in the neighboring town. Out of 6 elementary schools in the area, there were only TWO paintings done by 1st graders! One of them was G's!
We are just so incredibly proud of him for working hard on his drawing and coloring and paining, and sticking with it. He is growing to be such an amazing little person!

At the art reception:
G called his art "Underwater Ghost" and it is done with crayons and watercolor.

Beautiful scary ghost! The art under G's is an ink-jet print by a High School Senior. They must have some kind of computer art classes there.
Annika had an art show at her pre-school as well. This was a fun week at her school. Monday was the art show reception. Tuesday was "Hat Day". Wednesday was "Silly Day" and Thursday was "Pajama Day".
Annika's stunning yellow robot! Her name is Chloe The Robot.
